Post Affiliate Pro pricing is $89 a month on Starter, $139 on Pro, $269 on Ultimate and $649 on Network, or $79, $129, $249 and $599 a month billed annually. Every plan includes unlimited affiliates. What each plan actually limits is tracking requests, and Post Affiliate Pro's own support portal counts every click, sale, action and banner impression as one.
That makes the Post Affiliate Pro meter a measure of traffic, not revenue and not headcount. A program with a few hundred affiliates and no banners will sit comfortably on Starter for years. A program whose affiliates run display banners on busy sites can blow through the Starter allowance in a day. Below is what each plan costs, how the tracking request limit works, what overage costs at real traffic levels, and how the bill compares with the tools that meter something else.
How much does Post Affiliate Pro cost?
These are the figures on the Post Affiliate Pro pricing page, which is published by Quality Unit. Annual billing saves $10 to $50 a month depending on the plan, and there is a 30-day free trial.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Tracking requests included | Overage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $89/mo | $79/mo ($948/yr) | 10,000 a month | $5 per 10,000 |
| Pro | $139/mo | $129/mo ($1,548/yr) | 1,000,000 a month | $1 per 10,000 |
| Ultimate | $269/mo | $249/mo ($2,988/yr) | 6,000,000 a month | $0.40 per 10,000 |
| Network | $649/mo | $599/mo ($7,188/yr) | 20,000,000 a month | $0.20 per 10,000 |
Setup help is included on every plan (capped at two hours on Starter), and so is 24/7 support. The feature steps are what push most buyers up a tier: Pro adds unlimited campaigns and the full integration list, Ultimate adds performance rewards, multiple administrators, a lifetime referrals manager and site replication, and Network adds multiple merchant accounts, a subscription manager and smart links, which is the plan for anyone running an affiliate network rather than one program.
You will see lower numbers elsewhere. Several review sites still list only the annual rates, so "$79 a month" and "$129 a month" are both real prices, just not the ones you pay month to month.
What counts as a tracking request in Post Affiliate Pro?
A tracking request is any event sent to Post Affiliate Pro's servers: a banner impression, a click, a sale or an action. Quality Unit's support article on the limit says exactly that, and it adds that you can see current usage and a monthly projection under Reports, then Traffic info, in the merchant panel.
Three consequences follow, and each one matters more than the headline price.
- Impressions are the expensive part. A single banner on an affiliate's blog generates a request every time the page loads, whether or not anyone clicks. Clicks and sales are a small fraction of that.
- You can switch impressions off. The same support article recommends disabling impression tracking to cut request volume. If you do not report on banner impressions, turn it off before launch.
- Going over does not stop tracking. Extra requests are billed at the plan's overage rate and show on your account as "Additional transactions". Nothing breaks, so nothing warns you in the product itself until the invoice.
What Post Affiliate Pro costs at four traffic levels
Here is the monthly bill on monthly billing, assuming impression tracking is off, so requests are clicks plus sales.
| Requests a month (clicks plus sales) | Starter | Pro | Cheaper plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| 10,000 | $89 | $139 | Starter |
| 30,000 | $99 ($89 plus 2 x $5) | $139 | Starter |
| 110,000 | $139 ($89 plus 10 x $5) | $139 | Same cost |
| 500,000 | $334 ($89 plus 49 x $5) | $139 | Pro |
The break-even is 110,000 requests a month, on either billing cycle, because the gap between Starter and Pro is $50 a month on both. Below it, Starter plus overage is cheaper. Above it, Pro is cheaper, and its 1,000,000 allowance means most single-brand programs never pay overage again.
Now switch impressions back on. Say three of your affiliates run a banner on sites that load 60,000 pages a month between them. That is 180,000 requests before a single click, so a Starter account at 30,000 clicks and sales lands at 210,000 requests and $189 a month, more than Pro. The pricing page does not tell you this. The traffic report will, a month too late.
Is Post Affiliate Pro worth the money?
For a merchant that wants a mature, self-contained affiliate tracker with unlimited affiliates and a long integration list, it is good value. Quality Unit has been building it since the company was founded in Bratislava in 2004, it has never taken outside funding, and the same company makes the LiveAgent help desk. The product is older than most of its competitors, and it shows in both directions: deep configuration, and an interface reviewers regularly describe as dated with a real setup curve.
It is a weaker fit in three cases. If your affiliates are banner-heavy publishers and you need impression data, the meter works against you. If you are a SaaS company on Stripe that just wants recurring commissions working in an afternoon, the revenue-metered SaaS tools are quicker to launch. And if the problem is that you do not have enough good affiliates in the first place, no tracker fixes that. Post Affiliate Pro has an affiliate directory, but finding and signing publishers is still work you do yourself, down to tracking down and verifying the right contact email for the person behind each site.
Post Affiliate Pro pricing compared with the alternatives
The useful comparison is not the entry price, it is the unit each vendor charges on. Four vendors, four different meters.
| Tool | Entry price (monthly billing) | What the plan is metered on | Affiliate cap on entry plan |
|---|---|---|---|
| Post Affiliate Pro | $89/mo | Tracking requests: 10,000, then $5 per 10,000 | Unlimited |
| Tapfiliate | $89/mo | 5,000 clicks and 500 conversions, then overage | 50 affiliates |
| FirstPromoter | $49/mo | Affiliate revenue, $5,000 a month | Unlimited |
| LeadDyno | $49/mo | Active affiliates | 50 active affiliates |
| Partnero | $59/mo ($49 annual) | No revenue or traffic cap | Unlimited |
| Partnerships | $47/mo | Flat, no traffic or revenue meter | Not metered |
Tapfiliate is the closest like-for-like, since both charge for traffic. At 29,000 clicks and 1,000 sales a month, Post Affiliate Pro Starter costs $99. Tapfiliate Launch costs $132.50 ($89 plus $36 for 24,000 extra clicks at $1.50 per 1,000, plus $7.50 for 500 extra conversions at $15 per 1,000), and only if you have 50 affiliates or fewer. Past 50 you are on Scale at $179. For high-traffic programs, Post Affiliate Pro is the cheaper tracker. Our Tapfiliate pricing breakdown shows the full overage math at five program sizes.
The revenue-metered tools flip the logic. FirstPromoter and Rewardful do not care how many clicks you get; they bill on the revenue your affiliates bring in. A low-traffic, high-price SaaS product is cheap on Post Affiliate Pro and can be expensive on a revenue meter, and a high-traffic, low-price product is the opposite. Our affiliate software pricing breakdown lines up nine vendors by meter, and the LeadDyno pricing and Rewardful pricing posts show how the other two meters behave at scale.
Four questions to ask Quality Unit before you commit
- How is a partial overage block billed? The pricing page quotes overage per 10,000 requests. Ask whether 10,001 extra requests is billed as one block or two.
- Do API calls and postbacks count? The support article lists impressions, clicks, sales and actions. If you fire server-to-server postbacks or call the API heavily, confirm how those are counted.
- Does the plan upgrade itself? Overage is billed on your current plan. Ask whether you can switch to Pro mid-cycle when a month runs hot, and whether the switch is pro-rated.
- What does migration include? Setup is included, capped at two hours on Starter. If you are moving affiliates, links and commission history from another tool, get the scope in writing.
When a flat-fee partner platform is the better buy
Post Affiliate Pro is a tracker, and a capable one. It records what your affiliates send you and calculates what you owe them. For a B2B or SaaS company, though, the partners that move revenue are rarely banner publishers. They are agencies, consultants, resellers and integration partners, and the hard part is finding the right ones and getting a reply, not counting their clicks.
That is what Partnerships is built for. It researches the companies that already sell into your market, ranks them by a fit score with the reasons shown, drafts outreach a person on your team approves, and tracks the partner-sourced revenue that follows, on a flat $47, $119 or $269 a month with no traffic or revenue meter. See it side by side on our Post Affiliate Pro alternative page, or compare it with the closest traffic-metered rival on the Tapfiliate alternative page.
