AffiliateWP vs SliceWP pricing and features (SliceWP vs AffiliateWP) for WordPress affiliate programs
AffiliateWP and SliceWP are the two affiliate plugins most WordPress stores and membership sites shortlist. Both install on your own site, both allow unlimited affiliates, and neither takes a percentage of the sales your affiliates drive. They differ on price structure. AffiliateWP sells three yearly licenses at half price in year one and full price at every renewal, and keeps its most-wanted features for Pro. SliceWP sells two licenses that include every feature and add-on, and also offers a one-time lifetime license.
So the cheaper plugin depends on how many sites you run, whether you sell subscriptions, and how long you plan to keep the program. This page prices both at those points from their current pricing pages, then covers the features that should break a tie.

Choose SliceWP if you run one or many WordPress sites, sell subscriptions, and want every feature on the entry license or a one-time lifetime price. Choose AffiliateWP if fraud controls, tiered and multi-tier rates, automatic payouts and the widest integration list matter more than the renewal bill. Choose Partnerships if the partners you need are companies, such as complementary brands, agencies and integration partners, and the job is finding and recruiting them on a flat published fee.

Why teams pick Partnerships
AI prospecting and drafted outreach, with no marketplace tax
What AffiliateWP and SliceWP cost over three years
AffiliateWP's pricing page footnotes every price as special introductory pricing, with all renewals at full price. On one site, Personal costs $149.50, then $299, then $299: $747.50 over three years. Pro, the license with recurring referrals, costs $299.50 and then $599 a year, so $1,497.50 over three years. SliceWP Pro costs $169 in year one and $229 after that, so $627 over three years, with recurring commissions included. Its lifetime license is $429 once. The lifetime option pays for itself during year three: the yearly route costs $398 over two years and $627 over three. If you expect to run the program for more than two years and want to stop thinking about renewals, the lifetime license is the cheapest way to own either plugin.
The feature gate that decides most comparisons
For a store that sells one-off products, AffiliateWP Personal covers the basics well: unlimited affiliates, coupon tracking, referral links, an affiliate dashboard, Stripe and PayPal payouts and WooCommerce plus 20+ integrations. The gap opens for subscription and membership businesses. Recurring referrals and lifetime commissions are listed under Pro on AffiliateWP, so a membership site that pays affiliates on renewals is buying the $599 renewal, not the $299 one. SliceWP lists recurring and lifetime commissions, multi-currency and multi-level affiliates on Pro with every add-on included. On like-for-like features for a subscription site, the three-year difference is $1,497.50 against $627, or $870.50.
Where AffiliateWP earns its higher renewal
AffiliateWP Pro bundles things SliceWP does not list: a fraud prevention suite, tiered affiliate rates, direct link tracking without a referral parameter, automatic payouts, affiliate landing pages, vanity coupon codes and the option to turn customers into affiliates. Plus and Pro also add commission on signups, a welcome bonus and leaderboards. It covers more sites per license at the low end too: Plus gives you two sites, where SliceWP jumps from one site on Pro to ten on Pro Plus. If you run exactly two or three WordPress stores and need fraud screening, AffiliateWP is the more complete tool and the higher renewal is the price of that.
Where SliceWP is the stronger buy
SliceWP wins on cost per site once you pass one install. Pro Plus covers ten sites for $259 in year one and $349 at renewal, or $649 once for life, against AffiliateWP Pro at $599 a year for five sites. Agencies and developers who set up affiliate programs for clients get the most out of that license. It also gives a longer refund window, 30 days against AffiliateWP's 14, which is enough to run a full monthly payout cycle before you decide. What you give up is breadth: fewer named integrations, no listed fraud suite, and no automatic payouts on a schedule. Check that your checkout plugin is on its integration list before you buy.
What neither plugin does, and when that is the real problem
Both plugins assume your partners are individuals who share a link or a code: customers, creators and bloggers. For most WordPress stores and membership sites that is the right model, and either plugin is a sound way to run it. Neither finds partners that are companies. A complementary product to bundle with, an agency whose clients are your buyers, a software tool your customers already use: none of them applies through an affiliate signup form. Partnerships researches those companies, ranks them by a fit score with the reasons shown, drafts the first outreach for a person on your team to approve, and tracks the revenue each partner brings, on a flat $47, $119 or $269 a month billed yearly with no percentage of sales. If your growth problem is who to partner with rather than how to track them, start there.
