PartnerStack vs Rewardful: pricing, plans, and which SaaS affiliate software fits your program

These two get compared a lot and they are not really the same category. Rewardful is affiliate tracking for companies that bill through Stripe or Paddle: paste two scripts, subscriptions sync both ways, affiliates get links and payouts. PartnerStack is a partner ecosystem platform, so affiliate links plus deal registration for resellers, tiering, market development funds, an LMS, and a marketplace of B2B SaaS agencies. One is a well-built feature. The other is a department.

Three questions settle it. What do you bill with? Rewardful supports Stripe and Paddle and nothing else, so anything invoiced elsewhere ends the comparison there. How many partner motions do you run? For one affiliate motion, Rewardful does the job for a published $49 a month. Add resellers registering deals and you need the other product. And what do you want to know before the call? Rewardful publishes its prices; PartnerStack confirms yours during a demo.

Choose Rewardful if you bill through Stripe or Paddle, run one affiliate motion, and want a published price you can sign up for today. Choose PartnerStack if you need resellers, deal registration, MDF, and a marketplace, and can absorb a quote-only contract. Choose Partnerships if you do not yet know who your partners should be.

The short answer

What is the difference between PartnerStack and Rewardful?

Rewardful is affiliate tracking built on top of Stripe and Paddle billing, priced publicly at $49, $99, and $149 or more a month by how much revenue your affiliates drive. PartnerStack is a full B2B partner platform covering affiliate, referral, reseller, and deal registration motions plus its own partner marketplace, sold quote only through a demo. The fastest way to decide: if you do not bill through Stripe or Paddle, Rewardful is out entirely, because those are the only two billing systems it supports. If you only need affiliates paid for referrals and you do bill through Stripe, Rewardful is cheaper, faster to install, and transparent about cost. If you need resellers registering deals and co-selling alongside affiliates, that is PartnerStack territory.

Why teams pick Partnerships

AI prospecting and drafted outreach, with no marketplace tax

The Stripe requirement decides this for a lot of teams

Rewardful is built on billing data. Its whole advantage is that it reads your Stripe or Paddle subscriptions directly, so commissions follow upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, and free trials without you wiring anything up. The flip side is stated plainly in its own FAQ: if you do not use Stripe or Paddle, you cannot use Rewardful at this time. That single line removes it from most enterprise shortlists, where invoicing runs through NetSuite, Chargebee, or a finance team. Check your billing stack before you spend an hour on feature tables, because it may settle the question in ten seconds.

Revenue-gated plans are a percentage fee wearing a different coat

Rewardful advertises a 0% transaction fee and it means it, which is a real advantage over platforms that skim partner revenue. But the plans are capped by affiliate-driven revenue: $7,500 a month on Starter, $15,000 on Growth, Enterprise above that. So the cost still tracks program success, in three steps rather than a smooth slope. The practical difference is that steps are predictable and a percentage is not. Model your affiliate revenue at 12 and 24 months, see which band you land in, and compare that number against a flat subscription. For most programs the arithmetic favours Rewardful early and gets closer later.

Honest about where each one beats us

If you bill through Stripe and want an affiliate program live this afternoon for $49 a month, Rewardful is a better buy than we are for that job, and its two-way Stripe sync is deeper than anything we do with billing data. If you are already producing meaningful partner revenue and need MDF workflows, a partner LMS, tiered challenges, and a designated CSM, PartnerStack has all of that and we do not. We are the better answer earlier and wider: when nobody has decided who the partners should be, when you need reseller, integration, and co-marketing motions alongside affiliates, and when a flat published price beats a quote you have to negotiate.

Good questions

PartnerStack and Rewardful vs Partnerships, answered

For a Stripe-billed SaaS running one affiliate program, usually yes. Rewardful is cheaper, publishes its prices, installs in about twenty minutes, and syncs commissions straight from Stripe. PartnerStack is better once you have more than one partner motion, because it handles reseller deal registration, tiering, MDF, and enablement that Rewardful does not attempt. The deciding question is how many kinds of partner you have, not which product has more features.
Rewardful publishes three plans: Starter at $49 a month for up to $7,500 a month in affiliate-driven revenue, Growth at $99 a month for up to $15,000, and Enterprise from $149 a month above that. Every plan includes a 14-day free trial, unlimited affiliates, and a 0% transaction fee. Annual billing gets two months free. Plans are gated by affiliate revenue, not by affiliate count.
PartnerStack does not publish prices. It lists three plans, Launch, Growth, and Enterprise, each with a book-a-demo button, and its own FAQ says pricing depends on your partner program size, feature needs, and level of support, confirmed during the demo. Budget for a sales conversation rather than a checkout page, and ask specifically which partner motions your quoted plan includes.
It works with Paddle as well as Stripe, and nothing else. Rewardful states in its own FAQ that it currently supports only Stripe or Paddle. If you bill through Chargebee, Recurly, NetSuite, or invoices, Rewardful is not an option today regardless of how well the rest of it fits. That constraint is the single most common reason teams rule it out.
Partly. Rewardful includes an Affiliate Finder that crawls the web for relevant affiliates based on search queries you run, and charges a credit each time you reveal a result. It is aimed at finding publishers and content sites likely to promote your product. It does not surface reseller, integration, or co-marketing partner companies, score them for fit against your product, or draft the outreach, which is a different job and the one most B2B programs are stuck on.
Affiliate software tracks a link, attributes a signup, and pays a commission. A partner platform adds the motions that involve a human on the other side: resellers registering deals so they do not collide with your reps, co-selling with an integration partner, tiering, certification, and marketing funds. Rewardful is squarely the first. PartnerStack is the second. Picking the wrong one usually shows up six months in, when a reseller asks how to register a deal.
Rewardful, almost certainly. At $49 a month with a published price and a 14-day trial, it is the cheapest credible way to launch an affiliate program on Stripe. PartnerStack does not publish a figure, and quote-only enterprise software with a demo-led sales process rarely lands near $49. The caveat is scope: that $49 buys affiliate tracking, not a partner program.
