LeadDyno vs Refersion pricing and features (Refersion vs LeadDyno) for ecommerce affiliate programs
LeadDyno and Refersion are both affiliate tracking tools for ecommerce brands, both install on Shopify, WooCommerce and BigCommerce, and both publish prices. They meter different things. LeadDyno sells plans by how many active affiliates you keep, from $49 for 50 to $749 for an unlimited roster, and never takes a share of sales. Refersion lets you keep unlimited affiliates and charges a plan fee plus 3% (Launch) or 2% (Growth) of the sales they drive.
So the cheaper tool depends on two numbers you already know: how many affiliates are in your account and how much they sell each month. This page prices both vendors at those numbers from their current pricing pages, then covers the features that should break a tie.

Choose LeadDyno if your affiliate sales are large relative to your roster and you want a fixed monthly bill with a 30-day trial. Choose Refersion if you run a wide creator roster with modest sales each, or you want its marketplace and SKU-level tracking on Growth. Choose Partnerships if the partners you need are companies, such as complementary brands, agencies and retailers, and the job is finding and recruiting them on a flat published fee.
The short answer
LeadDyno or Refersion, which one should you buy?
Buy LeadDyno if your affiliate sales are growing and your roster is tight: it charges a flat $49 to $749 a month by active affiliate count and takes no share of sales, so above about $10,000 a month in affiliate sales it is usually cheaper. Buy Refersion if you have many affiliates but modest sales, or you want its affiliate marketplace: it charges $39 or $199 a month plus 3% or 2% of affiliate-driven sales, with unlimited affiliates.

Commission paid to affiliates comes on top of every plan. Refersion's percentage is charged on affiliate-driven sales, not on the commission, so a 3% fee on a 10% commission adds 30% to your affiliate cost. LeadDyno counts every affiliate that is not archived or pending as active, whether or not they sell.
Why teams pick Partnerships
AI prospecting and drafted outreach, with no marketplace tax
What LeadDyno and Refersion cost at your sales volume
Refersion's bill follows sales. On monthly billing, the cheaper of its two plans costs $99 at $2,000 a month of affiliate-driven sales, $189 at $5,000, $339 at $10,000, $699 at $25,000, $1,199 at $50,000 and $2,199 at $100,000. Growth takes over from Launch at $16,000 a month, where both cost $519. LeadDyno's bill follows your roster and stays flat however much those affiliates sell: $49 up to 50 active affiliates, $129 up to 150, $349 up to 500 and $749 beyond. That gives four break-even points. With 50 or fewer affiliates, LeadDyno Lite is cheaper than Refersion once affiliate sales pass about $340 a month. With up to 150, Essential wins above $3,000 a month. With up to 500, Advanced wins above about $10,300. With an unlimited roster, LeadDyno Unlimited at $749 beats Refersion Growth above $27,500 a month. Below those lines Refersion costs less, above them LeadDyno does, and the gap grows by $200 to $300 a month for every extra $10,000 of sales.
The roster problem that decides LeadDyno
LeadDyno's support documentation defines an active affiliate as any affiliate that is not archived or pending. Approval is enough. A creator who signed up last spring and never posted a link still takes one of your 50 or 150 slots, and the plan steps up the moment you approve one more. That makes LeadDyno cheapest for brands that recruit selectively and archive people who do not sell, and most expensive for open programs that approve everyone. If your program has 400 approved affiliates and $8,000 a month in sales, LeadDyno Advanced costs $349 while Refersion Launch costs $279. Archive the 300 who never sold and LeadDyno Essential costs $129. Before you compare quotes, count the affiliates who sold anything in the last 90 days, not the total in your dashboard.
Where Refersion earns its percentage
Refersion's fee buys things LeadDyno does not sell. Its free Marketplace listing lets creators browse your percent-of-sale offer and apply, which helps when you need more affiliates than you can find yourself. Growth adds SKU-level and customer-email tracking, new versus returning customer commissions, multi-store management, API access, 30+ marketing integrations and chat support. Payouts run through PayPal on Launch, with Trolley, gift cards and manual payments also listed. On the Shopify App Store it rates 4.8 from 494 reviews. The catch is that the percentage never stops. At $50,000 a month of affiliate sales, Refersion Growth costs $1,199, about $5,400 a year more than LeadDyno Unlimited. Once your store passes $1 million in annual GMV, ask Refersion for a Scale quote, because Scale replaces the percentage with a flat monthly subscription.
Where LeadDyno is the stronger buy
LeadDyno wins when sales are healthy and the roster is under control. The bill is fixed, so a strong holiday month costs the same as a slow one, and every plan carries unlimited clicks and conversions. It also connects to more storefronts and billing tools than most rivals, including Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix, Squarespace, Ecwid, Stripe and Chargebee, which suits brands that sell subscriptions alongside physical products. The 30-day trial on every plan is long for this category, so you can run a full payout cycle before paying. What you give up is a marketplace and some depth on the lower tiers. Per-product commissions start on Advanced at $349, and mass PayPal payouts need a PayPal business account with Payouts access approved by PayPal, which can take a few days.
What neither tool does, and when that is the real problem
Both tools assume your partners are individuals who share a link or a code: creators, loyal customers and content sites. For most direct-to-consumer brands that is the right model, and one of these two is a sound way to run it. Neither finds partners that are companies. A complementary brand to bundle with, an agency whose clients are your buyers, a retailer or distributor that could carry your line: none of them applies through an affiliate signup form. Partnerships researches those companies, ranks them by a fit score with the reasons shown, drafts the first outreach for a person on your team to approve, and tracks the revenue each partner brings, on a flat $47, $119 or $269 a month billed yearly with no percentage of sales. If your growth problem is who to partner with rather than how to track them, start there.
