Compare · AffiliateWP and Solid Affiliate
AffiliateWP vs Solid Affiliate pricing and renewal cost (Solid Affiliate vs AffiliateWP) for WooCommerce stores
AffiliateWP and Solid Affiliate land on the same shortlist for most WooCommerce store owners. Both install on your own WordPress site, both allow unlimited affiliates, and neither takes a percentage of the sales your affiliates drive. On the checkout page they look like the same price: $149.50 against $149.60 for one site.
The difference shows up a year later. Both vendors sell an introductory first year, and both renew at a higher list price, but Solid Affiliate's list prices are higher than AffiliateWP's at every tier. This page prices both plugins over three years from their current pricing pages, shows which features force the Pro license on each, and explains when the cheaper first year is the right call anyway.

Choose AffiliateWP if you will keep the plugin for more than a year, sell through more than WooCommerce, or need tiered and multi-tier rates. Choose Solid Affiliate if you run WooCommerce only, want 10 sites on one license in year one, or need a white-label affiliate area. Choose Partnerships if the partners you need are companies, such as complementary brands, agencies and integration partners, and the job is finding and recruiting them on a flat published fee.
The short answer
AffiliateWP or Solid Affiliate, which one should you buy?
Buy AffiliateWP if you plan to keep the plugin past year one: it renews at $299, $399 or $599 a year, while Solid Affiliate renews at its regular $374, $499 or $749. Buy Solid Affiliate if you run a WooCommerce-only store, want the lowest first-year price on several sites (Pro covers 10 sites for $224.70), or need its white-label affiliate area. Recurring commissions sit on the Pro license of both.

Why teams pick Partnerships
AI prospecting and drafted outreach, with no marketplace tax
Same price in year one, different price every year after
For one site, the checkout prices are a dime apart: AffiliateWP Personal is $149.50 and Solid Affiliate Starter is $149.60. Both are first-year prices. AffiliateWP renews Personal at $299. Solid Affiliate says renewals are at the regular price and lists Starter's regular price as $374. Over three years on one site that is $747.50 for AffiliateWP against $897.60 for Solid Affiliate, a $150.10 gap that grows by $75 every further year. Store owners who compare the two on the number in the cart are comparing the wrong number. The renewal is the price you pay for as long as the program runs.
Subscription stores pay for Pro on either plugin
If you sell subscriptions or memberships through WooCommerce and want affiliates paid on renewals, neither entry license will do. AffiliateWP lists recurring referrals and lifetime commissions on Pro only. Solid Affiliate lists subscription renewal referrals and lifetime commissions on Pro only, too. So for a subscription store the real comparison is Pro against Pro. AffiliateWP Pro costs $299.50 and then $599 a year for five sites: $1,497.50 over three years. Solid Affiliate Pro costs $224.70 and then $749 a year for ten sites: $1,722.70 over three years. Solid Affiliate is $74.80 cheaper in year one and $150 more expensive in every year after that.
Where Solid Affiliate is the better buy
Sites per license is Solid Affiliate's strongest card. Expert covers three sites and Pro covers ten, against two and five on AffiliateWP. An agency running affiliate programs for eight client stores pays $749 a year on Solid Affiliate Pro at regular price, about $94 per store, where the same eight stores need two AffiliateWP Pro licenses at $1,198 a year. It also gives a 30-day refund window against 14, which is long enough to run one real monthly payout before you decide. And it is built natively on WooCommerce objects, so orders, coupons and refunds flow straight into commissions without a connector layer. If WooCommerce is your only store and will stay that way, that focus is a plus, not a limit.
Where AffiliateWP earns the place on your shortlist
AffiliateWP is cheaper to keep. At every tier its renewal is lower than Solid Affiliate's regular price, by $75 on the entry license, $100 in the middle and $150 at Pro. It also reaches further. AffiliateWP integrates with WooCommerce and more than 20 other plugins, including Easy Digital Downloads and MemberPress, so one program can cover a store, a membership and a course. Tiered and multi-tier rates and automatic payouts through Stripe are on its Pro license; Solid Affiliate does not list tiered rates and pays out through PayPal or manually. If your site runs on more than WooCommerce, or you reward your top affiliates with higher rates, AffiliateWP is the safer pick.
What neither plugin does, and when that is the real problem
Both plugins assume your partners are individuals who share a link or a coupon: customers, creators and bloggers. For most WooCommerce stores that is the right model, and either plugin runs it well. Neither finds partners that are companies. A complementary brand to bundle with, a retailer that could stock you, an agency whose clients are your buyers: none of them apply through an affiliate registration form. Partnerships researches those companies, ranks them by a fit score with the reasons shown, drafts the first outreach for a person on your team to approve, and tracks the revenue each partner brings, on a flat $47, $119 or $269 a month billed yearly with no percentage of sales. If your growth problem is who to partner with rather than how to track them, start there.
