Impartner vs Channeltivity: PRM software pricing, partner limits, and which channel platform to shortlist

Impartner and Channeltivity end up on the same shortlist because both sell partner relationship management to companies with a real channel, and both have been doing it for well over a decade. The usual way these comparisons get written is price against price. That is not available here. As of August 2026 neither vendor publishes a figure, so anyone telling you what either one costs is quoting a third-party marketplace estimate, not the vendor.

What you can compare, and what actually decides the shortlist, is shape. Impartner is a module estate. It lists 17 separately named products and expects you to assemble a stack: PRM at the core, then partner marketing automation, market development funds, training and certification, business planning, tiering and compliance, a configure price quote product it launched this year, referral automation, a cloud-marketplace motion, and an AI layer it calls Aimi. Four of those products carry their own Pricing link, and every one of those links opens a request form.

Channeltivity is the opposite. One platform, three tiers, sized by how many partners you have rather than how many modules you want. Its pricing page describes Growth as roughly 100 partners in a single region, Mid-Market as hundreds of partners across regions, and Enterprise as thousands with multiple program types, and it states plainly that partner programs do not fit seat-based pricing.

So the real question is not which is cheaper. It is whether your program needs several distinct motions running at once, or one motion run well. Below is what each vendor publishes, read off their own sites in August 2026, plus the parts of each model worth knowing before you take the call.

Buy Impartner if you run several partner motions at once, resellers plus a marketplace plus a referral program, and you want one vendor to supply a module for each with an AI layer over the top. Buy Channeltivity if you run a focused technology channel, you want a proven partner portal with deal registration and native CRM sync, and you would rather buy one platform than assemble a module estate. Buy Partnerships if the harder problem is that you still have to find the partners in the first place.

The short answer

What is the difference between Impartner and Channeltivity?

Scope is the difference, not price, because neither vendor publishes one. Impartner sells 17 separately named modules, from PRM and partner marketing automation through MDF, CPQ, training, referral automation and a cloud-marketplace product, and you assemble the ones you need. Channeltivity sells a single PRM platform in three tiers sized by partner count: roughly 100 partners on Growth, hundreds on Mid-Market, thousands on Enterprise. Impartner suits a large channel with several distinct motions running at once. Channeltivity suits a focused technology channel that wants a proven portal, deal registration and native CRM sync without buying a module estate.

Read off each vendor's own site on August 29, 2026. Where a row says no published price, that vendor genuinely publishes none: the link opens a request form or the URL returns a 404. Channeltivity's last-known figures are labeled historical because it withdrew them in mid-2026. Nothing here is copied from a third-party listicle or a marketplace estimate.

Why teams pick Partnerships

AI prospecting and drafted outreach, with no marketplace tax

Neither vendor publishes a price, so ignore any number you read about them

This is the single most important thing to know before you shortlist either product, and it is the thing most comparison articles get wrong. Impartner has never published a figure. Its pricing URL, impartner.com/pricing, returns a 404, and we have now checked it on six separate occasions across 2026 with the same result. Four of its products carry their own Pricing link on the site, and all four open a request form. There is no list price, no starting-at floor, and no published partner-count band. Channeltivity used to be one of the few vendors in this category that published flat monthly figures. It withdrew them in mid-2026. The pricing page now lists Growth, Mid-Market and Enterprise, describes each by partner scale, and ends every one with a prompt to talk. Its own explanation is on the page: "Partner programs don't fit seat-based pricing, so we tailor everything to your structure and scale." You will still find dollar figures for both on software marketplaces and review aggregators. Those are estimates assembled from buyer-reported deals, not vendor list prices, and they carry no guarantee that the number applies to your partner count, module mix, region or contract length. We are not repeating them here, because a number we cannot verify against the vendor is worse than no number at all. The one figure worth carrying into a negotiation is Channeltivity's own last published price, $1,899 a month for Standard and $2,199 for the CRM Edition, because that is what the vendor itself stated before it stopped.

Impartner is a module estate, and that is the real cost driver

Impartner lists 17 separately named products. The core is PRM. Around it sit Partner Marketing Automation, Partner Communications, Partner Services, Partner Lifecycle Management, Pipeline Management, Partner Training and Certification, Market Development Funds, the Impartner Marketplace, Partner Business Planning, Tiering and Compliance, Reporting and Analytics, Paid Media Marketing, Referral Automation, HyperscalerGTM for the cloud marketplaces, a CPQ product launched this year, and an AI layer called Aimi that it positions as partner revenue orchestration. That breadth is genuinely useful if you need it. A vendor running resellers, a referral program and an AWS marketplace listing at the same time can buy one platform instead of three, and the reporting sits in one place. Impartner is one of very few vendors in the category that can honestly claim to cover all of those motions. It is also the thing that makes the price hard to predict. When the product is assembled from modules and no module has a published figure, your quote depends on how many pieces the sales conversation concludes you need. Two companies with identical partner counts can land far apart because one bought four modules and the other bought nine. The practical move is to write down the motions you actually run today, before the first call, and price only those. It is easy to leave a scoping call having agreed that MDF, business planning and certification are all obviously in scope, and much harder to remove them from the quote afterwards.

Channeltivity prices on partner count, not seats, and says so

Channeltivity's model is the simpler one to reason about even without figures, because it tells you what the meter is. The tiers map to program scale. Growth is described as suiting a program with around 100 partners or dealers, operating in a single region, typically moving off spreadsheets. Mid-Market is hundreds of partners or dealers across regions, with structured approval workflows. Enterprise is thousands of partners, multiple partner types and tiers, and integration with systems like SAP, NetSuite, Salesforce, HubSpot or Dynamics 365. The explicit rejection of seat-based pricing matters more than it sounds. In a partner program, the number of people who need access is unpredictable and mostly outside your control: every partner company brings its own set of users. Metering on seats turns partner growth into a budgeting problem and quietly discourages you from onboarding the long tail. Metering on partner companies at least aligns the bill with the thing you are trying to grow, and it makes the step changes visible in advance, because you know roughly when you will cross from one tier into the next. The trade-off is scope. Channeltivity does not sell a CPQ product or a hyperscaler marketplace motion. If those are on your roadmap, this is the wrong shortlist.

Which one fits a mid-market technology channel

For a software or hardware vendor with somewhere between 50 and 400 active partners, one region or two, and a single reseller motion, Channeltivity is usually the closer fit. The portal, deal registration, MDF and native CRM sync cover what that program needs, and buying one platform means one implementation rather than a module-by-module rollout. Impartner becomes the better answer when the program stops being one motion. A vendor with resellers in one lane, a referral program in another and a cloud marketplace listing in a third is genuinely served better by a single vendor with a product for each, and the reporting benefit is real. It is also the stronger choice if partner marketing is a serious function at your company rather than a quarterly newsletter, because Partner Marketing Automation and Paid Media Marketing have no equivalent on the Channeltivity side. Where both are the wrong tool is earlier than either will admit. If you do not yet have partners to manage, a PRM is an expensive filing cabinet. Partner relationship management assumes a list of signed partners exists and gives you somewhere to put them. Finding the companies worth signing is a different job, and it is the one we built Partnerships to do: describe your product and get back reseller, affiliate, integration and co-marketing companies ranked by fit, with the reasoning shown, then run the outreach and the program from the same place at $79, $199 or $449 a month, published.

How to run the evaluation when nobody publishes a number

Two opaque vendors change how you should run the process. A few things are worth doing in a specific order. Get the meter in writing before the demo, not after. Ask Impartner which modules the quote assumes and what each one costs standalone. Ask Channeltivity what partner count moves you from Growth to Mid-Market and what happens to the bill on the day you cross it. Both answers are cheap to get early and expensive to discover in year two. Ask what is excluded from the platform fee. Implementation, data migration, custom integration work, sandbox environments and premium support are the usual separate lines. A quote that looks competitive on the platform fee can lose to one that bundles implementation. Ask for the renewal terms up front. Uplift caps, auto-renewal notice periods and what happens if your partner count falls are all negotiable at signature and almost never afterwards. Finally, get both quotes at the same partner count and the same term length, or you are not comparing anything. It sounds obvious, and it is the step most evaluations skip, because the two sales processes arrive at different times and describe scope in different vocabulary.

Good questions

Impartner and Channeltivity vs Partnerships, answered

Impartner does not publish pricing. As of August 29, 2026 the URL impartner.com/pricing returns a 404, and the four products that carry their own Pricing link each open a request form rather than showing a figure. Cost depends on which of its 17 modules the quote includes and is negotiated per deal, so any published number you find is a third-party estimate, not a vendor list price.
Channeltivity no longer publishes pricing. Its pricing page lists three unpriced tiers, Growth, Mid-Market and Enterprise, sized by partner count, each ending in a call to action. Until mid-2026 it published $1,899 a month for Standard and $2,199 a month for the CRM Edition, with add-on modules at $299 to $499 a month each. Those are the last figures the vendor itself stated.
Channeltivity usually fits better. A program with 50 to 400 partners running a single reseller motion gets a portal, deal registration, MDF and native CRM sync in one platform and one implementation. Impartner becomes the stronger choice once you run several distinct motions at once, such as resellers plus a referral program plus a cloud marketplace listing, because it sells a dedicated module for each.
Yes. Channeltivity names Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite and SAP among the systems it integrates with, and native CRM sync has long been one of its selling points. It historically packaged this as a separate CRM Edition priced above the standalone product, at $2,199 a month against $1,899, though it no longer publishes either figure.
In enterprise partner relationship management, Impartner competes most directly with ZINFI, Channeltivity, Channelscaler (formerly Allbound) and Salesforce Partner Cloud. ZINFI is the notable contrast on transparency: it publishes an exact monthly price grid by partner count while Impartner publishes nothing. On the ecosystem and account mapping side, Crossbeam and PartnerTap solve a different problem and are rarely a straight substitute.
Channeltivity is a partner relationship management platform for technology channels. It provides a branded partner portal, deal registration with pipeline visibility, market development fund requests and approvals, partner onboarding and training, and two-way sync with the CRM you already run. It is aimed at vendors managing named reseller or dealer partners rather than at affiliate or influencer programs.
Impartner sells a modular platform negotiated per deal, so there is no single figure that would be accurate for most buyers. A quote depends on which of its 17 modules you take, your partner count and your contract term. The practical effect for you is that you cannot build a business case without a discovery call, and you should ask for standalone module prices in writing before scope grows.
Yes, if your program is early. Both are implementation-led platforms sized for established channels, and both require a sales call before you see a number. Partnerships publishes $79, $199 and $449 a month, works the same day, and adds the part neither covers: finding the reseller, affiliate, integration and co-marketing companies worth recruiting in the first place.
Channeltivity is generally the faster rollout, because you implement one platform rather than sequencing several modules. Impartner implementations scale with how much of the estate you bought: PRM alone is a contained project, while PRM plus marketing automation plus MDF plus training plus CPQ is a program of work. Ask both vendors for a written timeline tied to the exact scope in your quote.
