Dub pricing for its partner and affiliate product starts at $90 a month on Business, which covers up to $2,500 of partner payouts a month, and $300 a month on Advanced, which covers up to $15,000. Enterprise is quoted on an annual contract. On top of the plan, Dub takes a payout fee: 5% of every payout funded by ACH on Business and Advanced, 8% if you fund by card, falling to 3% and 6% on Enterprise.

That second number is the one most Dub pricing pages leave out, and several review sites still quote the older $75 and $250 plan prices. Below are the current figures from Dub's own pricing page and help center, what Dub actually costs at five program sizes, the one-dollar step that roughly doubles the bill, and how it compares with the affiliate tools that meter on revenue instead of payouts.

How much does Dub cost?

These are the partner plans on dub.co/pricing. Annual billing takes 10% off, so Business works out to $81 a month and Advanced to $270. Dub Partners, the affiliate and referral program product, is only available on Business and above.

Advanced$300$270/moUp to $15,000/moUnlimited5% / 8%

The plans also meter link activity. Business includes 250,000 tracked events and 10,000 new links a month with 10 seats. Advanced includes 1 million events, 50,000 new links and 20 seats. Enterprise lifts every cap and adds SAML single sign-on and access to Dub's partner network. For most affiliate programs the event limits are generous and the payout allowance is the ceiling you reach first.

What is the Dub payout fee?

Dub charges a percentage of every partner payout it processes, and the program pays it, not the partner. Dub's help article on partner payouts lists the rates by funding method: ACH bank transfer costs 5% on Business and Advanced and 3% on Enterprise, and settles in up to four business days. Funding by credit card is instant but costs 8% on Business and Advanced and 6% on Enterprise.

The fee is charged on the commission you send, not on the sale that earned it. If a partner earns $300 on a $1,000 sale, the Dub fee at 5% is $15. What you get for it is real work that other tools leave to you: Dub pays partners in many countries, collects W-9 forms from US partners and sends the 1099-NEC forms at year end. If you would otherwise pay a bookkeeper or a payouts service to do that, part of the fee is money you were going to spend anyway.

What Dub costs at five program sizes

Here is the full monthly bill, plan plus fee, at the monthly payout totals most SaaS affiliate programs actually run at. ACH funding is assumed because it is the cheaper method and the one Dub recommends.

Monthly partner payoutsPlan neededPlan feePayout fee (ACH)Total per monthTotal if funded by card
$1,000Business$90$50$140$170
$2,500Business$90$125$215$290
$5,000Advanced$300$250$550$700
$10,000Advanced$300$500$800$1,100
$15,000Advanced$300$750$1,050$1,500

Two things stand out. First, the fee grows faster than the plan. At $15,000 of payouts the 5% is two and a half times the Advanced subscription. Second, Dub is cheapest, in relative terms, right at the top of each plan's allowance: $215 on $2,500 of payouts is 8.6% of what you pay partners, while $550 on $5,000 is 11%.

The $2,500 step that doubles a Dub bill

Business covers $2,500 of partner payouts a month. A program paying more than that needs Advanced. So a program that pays $2,500 costs $215 a month, and one paying $2,600 costs $300 plus $130, which is $430. One hundred dollars more in commissions doubles the software bill.

This matters most for programs growing through the band between $2,500 and roughly $6,000 of monthly payouts, which is where a lot of SaaS affiliate programs sit in their second year. If you are near the line, check three things with Dub before you rely on the Business price: whether a single high month moves you to Advanced or whether the limit is averaged, whether you can hold payouts to the next cycle to stay under it, and whether you drop back down in a quieter month. The pricing page does not say, and a seasonal program can pay the Advanced rate for months it only needed Business.

Dub pricing compared with FirstPromoter, Rewardful and Tolt

Dub meters on what you pay out. Most SaaS affiliate tools meter on the revenue your affiliates bring in, and none of the three below takes a percentage on their base plans. That makes the comparison depend on your commission rate. The table assumes a 25% commission, so $2,500 of payouts means $10,000 of affiliate revenue.

ToolMetered onCost at $2,500 payouts ($10,000 revenue)Cost at $10,000 payouts ($40,000 revenue)Payout processing
DubPartner payouts$215 (Business + 5%)$800 (Advanced + 5%)Included, 5% ACH, 8% card
FirstPromoterAffiliate revenue$99 (Business, up to $15,000)$149 (Enterprise, listed above $15,000)No fee published
RewardfulRevenue from referred customers$99 (Growth, up to $15,000)Quoted (Enterprise 75k tier)Optional Managed Payouts, 3% of payouts
ToltRevenue earned from affiliates$69 (Basic, manual payouts)$199 (Pro) plus 2% auto payouts, $3992% on Growth and above
PartnershipsFlat, no meter$47 to $269$47 to $269No fee on payouts

At a 25% commission Dub is the most expensive option at both sizes, and the gap widens as the program grows. At a 10% commission the picture tightens but does not flip: $2,500 of payouts then means $25,000 of revenue, which already puts FirstPromoter on its $149 plan and Rewardful into Enterprise pricing, while Dub stays at $215. Dub only comes out even when you count what it does that the others do not, mainly international payouts and 1099 handling. Our FirstPromoter vs Dub comparison works through the features, and Dub vs Rewardful finds the commission rate at which the two meters cross.

Is Dub worth the price?

Dub is worth it when three things are true. You already use Dub for branded short links and want the affiliate program on the same attribution data. You bill through Stripe, where Dub's integration tracks leads, sales, recurring payments and refunds without custom code. And your partners are spread across countries, so paying them and collecting tax forms would otherwise be a monthly chore. The product is also open source, which some engineering teams weigh heavily.

It is harder to justify when your partners are mostly US affiliates you could pay in one batch, when commissions are high relative to revenue, or when your payouts sit just above $2,500 a month. In those cases a revenue-metered tool with no percentage will usually cost a third to a half as much.

If the budget question is Enterprise, remember it is an annual contract with a custom price and a negotiated fee rate. The 3% figure is only yours once it is in the signed order form, and the renewal date is easy to lose when the person who negotiated it moves on, so keep the executed agreement where contract renewals and negotiated terms are tracked rather than in someone's inbox.

Four questions to ask Dub before you commit

  1. What happens in the month payouts pass $2,500? Ask whether you are upgraded automatically, whether payouts are blocked, and whether you move back down.
  2. Can we fund by ACH from day one? The card rate is 3 points higher. On $10,000 of payouts that is $300 a month.
  3. Which countries and payout methods apply to our partners? Availability of bank, PayPal and stablecoin payouts varies by country.
  4. What is the Enterprise fee rate at our volume? The published 3% is the Enterprise ACH rate. Ask whether it goes lower above a volume you can commit to.

When Dub is the wrong tool entirely

Dub, FirstPromoter, Rewardful and Tolt all solve the same problem: tracking what your affiliates send and paying them. None of them finds the partners. For a B2B or SaaS company the harder half of a program is usually identifying the agencies, consultants, integration partners and newsletters that already reach your buyers, then getting a yes from the right person at each.

That is what Partnerships does. It researches the companies that sell into your market, ranks them by a fit score with the reasons shown, drafts outreach a person on your team approves, and tracks the partner-sourced revenue that follows, on a flat $47, $119 or $269 a month with no fee on payouts. If your program is still short of good partners, see our affiliate software for SaaS page or the wider affiliate software pricing comparison, and if you are shortlisting replacements, our Dub alternative page prices each one at your payout volume.

Frequently asked questions

Does Dub have a free plan for partner programs?

No. Dub Partners, the affiliate program product, is only available on Business at $90 a month and above. Recruiting, tracking and paying partners starts at Business, which includes up to $2,500 of partner payouts a month plus a 5% payout fee when funded by ACH.

How much is Dub Advanced?

Dub Advanced is $300 a month, or $270 a month billed annually. It covers up to $15,000 of partner payouts a month with unlimited partners, partner groups and tags, 1 million tracked events and 50,000 new links. Payouts still carry a 5% fee by ACH or 8% by card, so at the full allowance the bill is $1,050 a month.

Who pays the Dub payout fee, the program or the partner?

The program pays it. Dub's help center states that the program operator covers the processing fee when sending payouts, so partners receive the full commission. Budget the fee as part of your affiliate cost: at a 5% fee, a program paying $10,000 of commissions a month spends another $500 on Dub on top of the Advanced plan.

Is Dub cheaper than Rewardful?

Usually not. Rewardful charges $49 or $99 a month with no percentage, metered on revenue from referred customers, while Dub charges $90 or $300 plus 5% of payouts. At $2,500 of monthly payouts Dub costs $215 against Rewardful Growth at $99. Dub closes the gap only when you value its built-in global payouts and tax forms.
